After their adventure in Latveria, the Sentinel of Liberty and the Thunderbolts return to their headquarters in Colorado. Charlie Burlingame (aka Charcoal) goes back to Burton Canyon high school where he bumps into someone he doesn't like: his father! Charcoal's dad still works for the Secret Empire, and he wants his son to steal a special chemical compound from a nearby chemical plant. But Charcoal refuses! And then a squad from the Imperial Army attacks! Can Charcoal defeat the heavily armed squad all by himself? His Justice like Lightning friends are on their way!
